The April Newsletter

Hi All
So, first things first. I really do hope you are well and safe. Some folks are getting on  with life as best they can, for some it’s hard going and there aren’t too many answers. But hopefully, the music that’s being posted online and some of the online communities that are springing up offer some light and breathing space.
As you know, I’m mid album production and posting songs as they come for you to download. We finished this song a few weeks back, it’s the title track of the next album so I hope you like it. It’s available now for whatever you want to pay from zero to , well as much as you fancy :)!
You can download it from http://robhalligan.bandcamp.com/track/always-heading-home

The next date for you’re diary is Wednesday 22nd April at 7:30pm (BST) when I’ll be live on YouTube for a special gig. It’s being sponsored by Pontefract Congregational Church. Here’s a not from Richard

“As a church we have hugely enjoyed and been blessed by Rob’s music and friendship. During this lockdown period we wanted to allow others to share in the joy that is an evening in Rob’s company, listening to his music, and also to be a blessing to Rob too, so we’re sponsoring him to do a concert on YouTube. If you’re a church whose experience is similar, maybe you could think of doing the same?”

Quickfire Stuff!

  • Last months song was Come Take Your Place. I’d like to try putting a video together and so it would be great if you could post a 10 second video of you and the people you’re with raising a glass. Post it to my facebook page with the tag #cometakeyourplace
  • And I know it’s hard to see where we’re heading and what the future looks like but I really am hoping to be back on the road as we return to some sort of normality, in the autumn. With that in mind I’m booking what should perhaps be called the Tentative Tour! If you’d like me to come to your venue either for an autumn concert of for a Christmas Psalm Event in December, do let me know.
  • You can keep up with my daily busking at www.facebook.com/halliganmusicthere’s a song a day!

Rob
